Fewer Issues and I Know Exactly What My Annual [ IT ] Costs Will Be. I really like this proactive IT approach . . . My Only Regret Is That We Didn’t Do This Sooner
About four years ago we made the decision to convert to an electronic medical record system. Once we began that project it really became apparent that we were going to need to lean on an IT firm to help us make the change and with the day to day. Our EMR software group introduced us to Andromeda. About 6 months after we upgraded to EMR, we needed to move our office. Andromeda’s team worked with our contractors, our engineers and everyone involved in that move. It was great to have an IT partner guiding us through that process. Over the last few years we have worked on a variety of projects. Obviously the office move and EMR upgrade I’ve already mentioned but we’ve also gone through a few equipment upgrades and implemented a new backup system. The backups were a big thing for us too. Now we know that even if we have an equipment failure we can keep seeing patients and nothing has to stop because our solution will keep us up and running.
In the last six months we have signed up for a monthly service package. I cannot say enough about how smoothly things have gone since we turned over all of our IT support to your team. I have regularly scheduled site visits, we have fewer issues, I know exactly what my monthly and annual costs will be and I really feel like this proactive approach to our IT is the way to go. My only regret is that we didn’t do this sooner. I have a personal relationship with my account team and I can trust that when it comes to our technology, I don’t need to worry. I wear a lot of hats here at the office and being able to take the IT off my plate and hand it over to Andromeda is just amazing. “Seating Concepts Inc. has used Andromeda Technology Solutions for a variety of tech services over the years. We were first introduced back in 2006 for phone support. We were looking into getting a new phone system and we chose an Avaya solution from Andromeda. We’re still using our Avaya system today and have expanded that recently to a new location. Late in 2017 Oak Surgical Institute was reviewing HIPAA compliance and standards. We were referred to Andromeda for a Network Security Assessment and had that performed. The medical field is a target for cybercrime and I had already heard of a few other surgical centers having issues. With that in mind I knew we had to make sure our network was as secure as possible to protect ourselves and our patients.
