At the recent quarterly meeting for Andromeda Technology Solutions, Kate Mitchell, Web Dev Project Manager/Lead Designer, was shocked to receive the Core Values award for her outstanding work in the third quarter of 2019.
Andromeda’s core values:
Communication: Winning starts and ends with communication
Action: Results come from action
Grit: Success is a product of grit
Own It: Progress happens when you own it
Jeff Borello, President and CEO, said that Kate “…exemplifies all 4 core values almost every day. She always has clients raving about her communication. She consistently drives results with actions. Success comes from not quitting until it is right – that is grit. End-to-end, start to finish – she owns it and makes progress happen.”
Kate is the team leader in the web development department. She works to ensure clients are getting what they need from their professional web site. She works tirelessly on SEO and maintaining security for all hosted web sites. She started at Andromeda in 2015 as part of the IGenMedia acquisition. Before that, she was with iGen for 4 years where she worked her way up from part time assistant to project management. Kate’s favorite part of her job is when she can show off her creative side.
Kate became interested in web dev in college through online journalism classes and eventually her internship at Irish American News – where she learned Joomla, a publishing system for web content. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2008 with a BA in English and Online Journalism. Kate is now an expert in WordPress web sites as well.
When Kate isn’t at Andromeda working with clients and designing web pages, she spends her time reading, cuddling her cat Malcom and playing with her niece and nephew.
Congratulations to Kate Mitchell for her outstanding accomplishment.
